From OQ Interiors to Bhoomi — A Story Built on Friendship & Craft
It started the way the best things do — with three friends and a shared conviction. In 2010, Sidharth PS, Roshith V, and Jithesh Nambiar sat together in Thalassery and asked a simple question: why did North Kerala's homeowners have to settle for mediocre interior design when they deserved so much better?
That question became OQ Interiors — a small but fiercely ambitious firm that set out to bring quality, creativity, and genuine professionalism to home interiors in Kannur, Thalassery, and Kozhikode. With almost no marketing budget but an absolute commitment to doing outstanding work, the company grew project by project, entirely on word-of-mouth and client trust.

Over fifteen years and more than 100 completed projects — from intimate apartment redesigns to full luxury villa builds — the company has grown into something the founders are deeply proud of. In 2022, reflecting the company's expanded identity as a full design-and-build firm, OQ Interiors became Bhoomi Interiors and Builders. The name changed. The values — transparency, craftsmanship, and genuine client care — remained exactly the same.
Today, Bhoomi serves homeowners, NRI families, and commercial clients across Kannur, Kozhikode, Thalassery, Wayanad, Kasaragod, and beyond. The three founders still work closely on every project — and the friendship that started it all remains the foundation everything is built on.

Behind every project at Bhoomi is the direct involvement of the same three people who started it all in Thalassery in 2010. Not managers reading reports — the founders themselves, invested in your home.
The creative voice and outward face of Bhoomi, Sidharth PS oversees all marketing, client acquisition, and brand strategy. With a sharp eye for design trends and a deep understanding of what Kerala homeowners truly want, he bridges the gap between the firm's capabilities and the clients it serves. Sidharth was one of the first in North Kerala to understand the power of digital presence for an interior design firm — and has built Bhoomi's reputation as a brand that clients genuinely trust before they even make the first call.
The backbone of every Bhoomi project, Roshith V ensures that what is promised in the design room is delivered flawlessly on-site. As Head of Operations, he manages vendor relationships, procurement, project scheduling, quality control, and the coordination of every trade across each build. His meticulous approach to timelines and budgets is the reason Bhoomi has earned a reputation for on-time, on-budget delivery that is rare in Kerala's construction and interior industry. If Sidharth builds the relationship, Roshith ensures it is honoured.
Where design meets reality, you will find Jithesh Nambiar. As Execution Manager, he is the hands-on force who translates concepts and plans into built spaces — supervising craftsmen, managing on-site challenges, and maintaining the quality standards that Bhoomi is known for across North Kerala. Jithesh has an intimate knowledge of materials, joinery, and construction methods honed over 15+ years of project execution. His presence on every job site is a guarantee: the work will be done right, the first time.

OQ Interiors Founded in Thalassery
Three close friends — Sidharth PS, Roshith V, and Jithesh Nambiar — register OQ Interiors in Thalassery, Kerala. Starting with a handful of residential projects in Kannur district, the company is built from day one on transparency, quality craftsmanship, and genuine client relationships. The first few projects come entirely through word of mouth.
Expanding Across North Kerala
Strong client referrals drive growth beyond Thalassery. The firm begins taking on projects in Kannur, Kozhikode, and Payyanur. The in-house team expands to include dedicated designers, a site supervisor team, and specialist craftsmen for teak joinery and custom furniture. By 2015, OQ Interiors has completed 25+ homes.
Modular Kitchens & Commercial Interiors
The firm adds dedicated modular kitchen design capabilities, becoming one of the first in North Kerala to offer German-grade kitchen hardware at competitive pricing. Commercial interior projects — clinics, offices, retail showrooms — are added to the service portfolio. The 50-project milestone is celebrated with a growing team and a loyal base of repeat clients.
Full Residential Construction Added
Responding to growing client demand for a single, trusted partner for both design and construction, the company launches a full residential construction division. This allows Bhoomi to take projects from architectural plan to finished interior — under one roof and one point of accountability. The expanded identity prompts the rebrand from OQ Interiors to Bhoomi Interiors and Builders.
